NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that there will be a public hearing at which the users served or to be served by the City of Weiner, Arkansas water and sewer system (the "System"), the owners of property served or to be served by the System, the citizens of the City of Weiner, Arkansas (the "City") and all other interested persons shall have an opportunity to be heard concerning the proposed issuance of (i) sales and use tax and water and sewer revenue bonds and (ii) water and sewer revenue bonds. The public hearing will be held before representatives of the City and the City Council at 6:30 o'clock p.m., on September 30, 2026, at Catholic Hall, 425 Kings Highway, Weiner, Arkansas.

The City Council has determined that betterments and improvements to the water facilities of the System should be acquired, constructed, and equipped (the "Project") in order that the City and its inhabitants may have adequate and proper water facilities. The City proposes to issue (i) sales and use tax and water and sewer revenue bonds in the maximum aggregate principal amount of $1,401,000 to finance a portion of the costs of the Project and (ii) water and sewer revenue bonds in the maximum aggregate principal amount of $648,000 to finance a portion of the costs of the Project.

At the hearing all objections and suggestions as to the proposed bonds will be heard and the City Council will take such action as is deemed proper in the premises.
