Members of Local 5462 are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Retired Captain Irv Moran.

Irv joined the Webster Rescue Squad in 1986 and retired as Captain of Rescue Operations in 2018 after 32 years of dedicated service to the Town of Webster and the surrounding communities.

Throughout his career, Irv was passionate about teaching and advancing the art of vehicle extrication while mentoring and guiding the next generation of first responders. He was a man of integrity, true to his word, and clear in his expectations.

While Irv's battle with cancer has come to an end, his memory, dedication, and legacy will live on through his family, friends, and the members of Webster Fire-Rescue.

Rest easy, Captain. Thank you for your unwavering service and the lasting impact you made on so many.
