Grant was a hell of a man; not many like him anymore in this world. The Hamilton County Sheriffs office, along with Stratford Fire and Rescue will grieve this one for a while.

Not only was he a first responder within Hamilton Co, he was someone you could always count on.

Remember that infectious smile and laugh.

We have got the watch from here Grant.

Job well done.

Grant Harold Carlson, 61, of Stratford died on Sunday, September 6, 2026. Services are pending with Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be made to the family to be given to many of Grant's favorite charities.
