Biden's Infrastructure & Jobs Act awarded the city of Ellsworth $73,117 for Premium Pay for public employees who continued to work normal business hours during the pandemic. Premium Pay was also paid to EMS/Fire Fighter Volunteers in response to calls during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are deeply sorry to hear of the passing of U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein. She was the first women to serve in many capacities and for over three decades she championed a multitude of causes. A champion for women’s rights, a leader in the fight for the Violence Against Women Act, a strong supporter of reproductive justice and same-sex marriage, she made life better for all Americans and will truly be missed.

This beautiful sculpture was built by the Irish people in their own country to honor the American Choctaw Indian tribe. They were grateful because in 1847 the Choctaw people sent money to Ireland when they learned that Irish people were starving due to the potato famine. The Choctaw themselves were living in hardship and poverty, having recently endured the Trail of Tears.
And that is a lesson in how to be a person in this world.
Kindred Spirits is a large stainless steel outdoor sculpture in Bailick Park in Midleton, County Cork, Ireland. The shape of the feathers is intended to represent a bowl of food.
