Rumors this past weekend from social media or elsewhere that the PSA was or would be turning customers' water off were untrue. We only turn water off when it is absolutely necessary to repair major water main breaks or when we disconnect for failure to pay. Our maintenance crew members and water and wastewater plant operators worked diligently and for long hours without rest or sleep to keep service on for our customers.

Starting at 5 pm today, the water on the south side of the Holston River along US 23 between Weber City and the Tennessee line will be off while our crew repairs a break in the major water main in that corridor. Repairs are expected to be completed by 10 pm tonight. Please see the alert on our website.
