Officer Baker recently completed the Servant Officer training conducted by LHLN. This intensive program focuses on the core principles of servant leadership—putting the needs of the community first and leading with empathy and integrity.

This is only the beginning! This training is Part 1 of a comprehensive trilogy designed to equip our officers with the best tools to serve Weber City. We are incredibly proud of Officer Baker’s dedication to professional growth and his commitment to excellence.

Okay, Weber City... we saw the trend, we felt the peer pressure, and we officially jumped on the bandwagon! 🏃‍♂️💨

We’ve seen so many other departments posting their "animated" counterparts that we figured it was time for the Weber City Police Department to get our own digital makeover.

While we might look like we’re ready for a starring role in the next big animated movie, don’t worry—the real-life WCPD team is still out here on the clock, keeping our town safe (just with slightly less "pixar-perfect" hair).

Today marks another major step forward for the Weber City Police Department! Chief Harding and Lieutenant Jones were proud to lead Phase 3 of our current hiring process, conducting intensive panel interviews for our prospective officers.

Selecting the right individuals to serve our town requires a broad perspective. We are incredibly grateful to the following community leaders and regional partners who lent their expertise and time to help us vet the next generation of law enforcement:

🏈🍗🍕 Super Bowl Night Public Service Announcement from Weber City PD 🚔

Tonight is one of those nights where:

• The snacks outnumber the people
• Someone is already yelling “HOLDING” before the snap
• Your team is either going to the Hall of Fame or getting “robbed” by the refs
• And somehow… your cup keeps refilling itself

We love the Super Bowl. We love seeing neighbors get together, families pile onto couches, and TVs turned up just a little too loud.

But here’s the part we’re serious about:

If you’ve been drinking tonight, don’t drive.

Not “just down the road.”
Not “I’m fine.”
Not “I’ve done it before.”
Buzzed driving is drunk driving. Period.

We promise you this:

• The game will still be talked about tomorrow
• Your car will still be where you left it
• That couch actually makes a great bed
• And calling a ride is way cheaper than a DUI

So make the smart call. Use a ride app. Call a sober friend. Stay put. Sleep it off. There are a lot of ways to get home that don’t involve risking your life or someone else’s.

Due to the current temperatures being colder than a mother-in-law’s stare, the Weber City Police Department is officially requesting that all criminal activity be postponed until further notice. ❄️🚫

It is simply too cold to be out there doing "bad guy stuff." If you attempt to run from our officers, your shoes will likely freeze to the pavement, and quite frankly, we don't want to chase you in this. Our coffee is currently the only thing keeping us tethered to this dimension. ☕️🧊

Please stay inside, stay warm, and we can resume our scheduled "catch and release" program once the thermometer hits a balmy 40 degrees. 🚔🧤

🚨 BREAKING NEWS FROM WCPD 🚨

After a thorough investigation and a highly technical analysis of the current landscape (see evidence below), our department has reached a preliminary conclusion: We think the snow is here. ❄️🕵️‍♂️

While we aren't 100% certain yet, we’re fairly confident that white stuff on the ground isn’t powdered sugar.

Our expert professional opinion? We THINK it might be best to stay off the roads. Be smart, stay warm, and try to keep your cars (and yourselves) out of the ditches. We’ve heard it’s much warmer in your living room than it is in our patrol cars right now!
