The Town is seeking public input on a reconfiguration of Merchants Alley to ensure that this public street is fully open for emergency access, sanitation trucks, and normal vehicular traffic in a way that will reasonably accommodate the needs of the area businesses and residents.

Options will be available for review in the TOWN HALL LOBBY from September 8 through September 14, during normal business hours, and during TOWN COUNCIL'S MEETING on Monday September 14 at 6pm.

Area businesses and residents are encouraged to drop by Town Hall or attend the Town Council meeting and note your preference on the options.

The rehabilitation of the playground at Lake Louise is under way. We expect this project to be completed by mid-September.

Park visitors will notice construction fencing and signage going up this week and are encouraged to avoid the playground area until the project is completed. The walking path will remain open but please remember that heavy equipment operators may not be able to see or hear you while they are working so it's very important to stay out of the marked construction site for your safety.

Please contact Public Works if you have any questions or concerns at 828-645-0606.
