Students may be on summer break, but healthy meals don’t take a vacation! 🍎

Weatherford ISD is providing FREE grab-and-go lunches to all children 18 and under this summer at the Weatherford Public Library, and you do not have to be a Weatherford ISD student to participate!

📍 Weatherford Public Library
📅 June 1 – July 1 (Monday–Thursday)
⏰ 11:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Children must be present to receive a meal, but meals do not have to be eaten on site. Just stop by and pick one up!

We are incredibly grateful to the Weatherford ISD Education Foundation for celebrating their 25th anniversary by awarding $15,924 to Weatherford ISD Special Programs! 💙🖤

The Weatherford ISD Education Foundation works year-round to raise funds through donations, partnerships, and community events, giving directly back to students and teachers across our district. Their generosity helps create innovative learning experiences, enrich our campuses, and provide opportunities that make a lasting impact on students every day.

🎉 RooFest Update 🎉

We are so excited to see everyone for RooFest tomorrow at WHS! To help the day run smoothly and ensure all activities begin on time, please review the information below:

Parking will be available at WHS. Please see the attached map for entrance options and parking. Those who have done the FastPass through the campus have an alternate entrance to speed up the process, so please review the map.

After checking in, families should proceed directly to the gym assigned to your student’s campus. This will help us get all activities started promptly and keep everything running on schedule.

Students will begin in their designated gym with their campus group. The schedule is also in included.

If you have any additional questions about the day, please reach out to your student’s teacher.

Thank you for your help in making RooFest a smooth and fun experience for everyone—we can’t wait to see you there!

🎉 RooFest Update – We’re Still On for an AMAZING RooFest! 🎉

We are so excited for RooFest on May 1, 2026—and while we’ve made a change of plans due to ongoing weather concerns, it’s going to be a fantastic day full of fun, energy, and smiles!

All activities will now take place indoors at the WHS gyms. This allows us to keep everything running smoothly while making sure our students have the best possible experience!

We are so grateful for your flexibility and support—it truly helps us make events like this special for our students!

To maximize fun and space, we’ll have two time slots by campus/district:
AM Groups (9:00–11:00am)
WHS • Millsap • Austin • Wright • Curtis • Hall • Aledo • Ikard

PM Groups (11:30am–1:30pm)
Tison • Crockett • Martin • Seguin • NGC • Lipan • Peaster

Parents are still invited—we would love to have you join us for all the excitement!

A map and additional details will be posted on Thursday to our page to help make your visit easy and enjoyable.

Be sure to complete your campus FastPass form if you haven’t already—it will help make check-in quick and smooth!

Students will still enjoy lunch on their home campus, either before or after their RooFest time.

Friday is going to be such a great day—we can’t wait to celebrate with you all!
