Last night we recognized members of the Hydro Fire Department for their hard work on a trauma arrest call at the end of March. Along with the AMR crews, these gentlemen helped give a man a second chance at life after a terrible work accident resulted in him going into cardiac arrest. It is very rare we get to celebrate Code Saves, especially when they are trauma related. We are so proud of these guys and cannot thank their department enough for their continued dedication to caring for patients!

So very well said. A somber day of remembrance for all those lives lost the day of the OKC bombing. History of Oklahoma that will never be forgotten.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost in the Oklahoma City bombing—168 innocent people, including 19 children, whose lives were taken far too soon. We also honor the first responders who answered the call without hesitation, some of whom gave their lives in service to others that day.

This tragedy forever changed our community, but it also revealed something powerful: the strength, resilience, and compassion of Oklahoma. In the face of unimaginable loss, our city came together—neighbors helping neighbors, strangers becoming family, and first responders standing side by side with unwavering dedication.

As members of EMS and fellow Oklahomans, we carry that legacy with us every day. We train harder, prepare better, and serve with deeper purpose because of the lessons learned from that day and to be our very best, working side by side with some of the best agencies in the nation.

It reminds us why we do this job—to provide care the world care in a moments notice. Today, we remember. We honor. And we continue forward—committed to the safety, care, and well-being of the community we are proud to serve.

If you see a dispatcher this week, thank them for helping keep the emergency services world afloat! Without them always answering calls, our jobs wouldn’t be possible.

You all are so loved and appreciated. Thank you for always having our backs and helping us care for our communities. We hope you know how important you are, not just during this week, but always!

Big shout out to our local dispatch agencies that communicate for AMR in Western Oklahoma: Weatherford and Caddo County! 💛

We want to take a moment to remember the courageous crew that lost their lives after answering the call to help another. Steven, Adam, and Russell will always and forever be remembered in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers.
