🇺🇸 Honoring Our Constitution 🇺🇸

Today, Mayor Mike Brown had the privilege of presenting a Proclamation declaring September 17–23, 2026, as Constitution Week in the City of Weatherford! 📜🇺🇸

Constitution Week is an opportunity for our community to pause and remember the importance of the United States Constitution and the freedoms and liberties it protects. We are grateful to the Daughters of the American Revolution for their dedication to preserving our nation’s history and encouraging citizens to learn more about this remarkable document. ❤️🤍💙

🎓💙 WAEDF September Meeting! 💙🎓

It was a great privilege to hear from Dr. Joel Kendall, President of SWOSU, at our WAEDF September meeting today! 🐾👏

SWOSU plays such an important role in the economic success and future of Weatherford and Western Oklahoma. From educating and retaining our workforce to creating new opportunities in healthcare, education, and beyond, the impact of this amazing university reaches far beyond the Hilltop. 📚🏫💼

We are incredibly grateful for SWOSU and its continued investment in our community and our state. Their leadership, innovation, and commitment to developing the next generation of Oklahomans help move Weatherford and Oklahoma in the right direction for economic development and growth! 💙🐾🦴

We are excited to welcome this incredible Route 66 Shield to the City of Weatherford! ❤️💙

A huge THANK YOU to Oklahoma Lieutenant Governor Matt Pinnell and the State of Oklahoma for this amazing gift and for continuing to support Route 66 communities across our state. This beautiful piece will be a great addition to Weatherford as we celebrate the Mother Road and its 100th anniversary! 🎉
