Parker County Committee on Aging - Meals on Wheels and The Senior Center

Providing senior services since 1975! The activity center is currently open Tuesday and Thursday from 9AM-2PM. Lunch is served from 11:30AM-12:00PM.

The mission of Parker County Committee on Aging, Inc., is to identify and assess the needs of homebound older adults in Parker County, Texas, and to provide life-sustaining services which allow them to live in the comfort of their homes. A further mission of the 501(c)(3) nonprofit is the operation of Parker County’s Senior Center that serves persons aged 60 and over with nutritional, educational, recreational, and social programs.

For the past four years, Denise has been a friendly face at the Senior Center, welcoming everyone who walks through our doors with warmth, kindness, and a smile.

When asked what she enjoys most about volunteering, Denise shared that it's the people — both the seniors and the fellow volunteers she serves alongside each day. One of her favorite memories is celebrating Halloween at the Center and seeing everyone join in the fun with creative costumes and lots of laughter.

We are so grateful for volunteers like Denise who help make the Senior Center feel like home for so many in our community. ✨
