Did you know our 5th graders get outdoors regularly with Muddy Sneakers?

Muddy Sneakers connects classroom learning to the real world through hands-on outdoor experiences aligned with North Carolina Essential Standards. Through exploration, observation, and inquiry, students deepen their understanding of science while building teamwork, problem-solving skills, and confidence.

🌟 It’s been an A-MAY-Zing month at SRCA! 🌟

We kicked off May with one of the most meaningful and joyful events of the year — Special Olympics! Watching our students compete, encourage one another, and represent our school with determination and heart was truly inspiring. 💙

We are incredibly proud of every student who participated. Their courage, sportsmanship, excitement, and perseverance reminded us what makes our school community so special. This month has been full of moments that remind us just how special our school community truly is. Events like Special Olympics are about so much more than competition — they are about celebrating every achievement and every athlete.

And honestly… May has flown by so quickly that we’re still catching up on sharing all these special moments! Stay tuned as we continue highlighting the many reasons this month has been so A-MAY-Zing.

Middle school students now have the opportunity to step into the spotlight with our brand-new Musical Theatre elective! Students will experience the full magic of live performance — from auditions and casting to rehearsals and a fully staged musical production.

This exciting program culminates in a December performance featuring costumes, sets, props, and unforgettable performances on stage. Whether students dream of acting, singing, dancing, or building confidence through the arts, this is their chance to shine!✨
