It’s been more than a year since Hurricane Helene, and homes are still being repaired. Thanks to a grant through the UW Helps NC Fund, this homeowner has been able to conduct mold removal to continue the repair process.

The UW Helps NC Fund is operated by United Way of North Carolina and disperses funds to local United Ways and other nonprofit organizations to pay for community needs in NC after a disaster.
