Big day for the department! 🚨 Meet our newest addition — a fully equipped Polaris side-by-side, built to get our crews into the rugged, hard-to-reach terrain that our mountains throw at us. Enclosed cab, full lighting, room for gear and crew — this rig is going to make a real difference on wildland, search and rescue, and remote-access calls. Excited to put it to work for our community!

It has come to our attention that individuals are making derogatory comments on social media regarding sexual orientation while falsely claiming to be affiliated with our department. We want to be clear: these individuals are not members of Jonathan Creek Fire and Rescue.

Our department is committed to serving our entire community with respect, integrity, and compassion — regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or background. These comments do not reflect our values, and we will not tolerate our name being associated with hateful or discriminatory speech.

🎆 Fireworks Safety Tips 🎆

Getting ready to celebrate tonight? Keep it safe:

• Keep a water source (hose or bucket) close by at all times
• Only light one firework at a time, and back away quickly after lighting
• Never relight a dud — soak it in water instead
• Keep spectators at a safe distance
• Only use fireworks on a flat, clear surface away from dry grass, structures, and vehicles

Great morning getting to visit with the kids and staff at Creative Minds Christian Preschool along with CLYDE FIRE DEPARTMENT! Thank you for letting us be a part of this special day!! I bet everyone can recall a time growing up where the fire truck visited your daycare or school!
