Is connection on your Bucket List for 2026? We have the perfect new adventure for you! Join us for a new monthly book club at Eva K. Bowlby Public Library the 3rd Wednesday at 6:00 PM beginning January 21st 2026!

This book club was created specifically for women veterans, service members, and their families. This included YOU! Grandmas, mothers, sisters, cousins, friends, and more - if you know anyone in your life who can fit into this category, you're invite!

Our goal is to connect through a mutual love of reading - that's it! Our first book is My Friends by Fredrik Backman, one of his newest reads! Please reach out with any questions and we hope to see you there!

Are you looking for connection in the New Year? Welcome to The Platoon! We are a women book club made up of individuals who have either served or have a loved one who is or did serve in the armed forces! Mothers, sisters, step-family, cousins, paramours, friends, and loved ones - the limit does not exist!

We will begin our club on January 21st at 6:00 PM, located at Eva K. Bowlby Public Library, where we will chat about our first book My Friends by Fredrik Backman!

Happy December, Platoon!

We have moved our meeting to The Eva K Bowlby Public Library! We are so excited for this partnership and look forward to meeting in their new community room located on the bottom floor of the library. Due to the change in location, we are now meeting on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6:00 PM beginning January 21st, 2026!

We hope to see you all soon and wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season. See you in the New Year!

Are you looking for a fun, free, and inspiring new way to connect with your local women? Join our new monthly book club, Paperback Platoon, for great reads and even better conversation.

We welcome anyone who has served or is connected to a woman service member, including, but not limited to: Veterans, active duty personnel, sisters, wives, girlfriends, moms, aunts, grandmothers, cousins, and friends!
