☕ Coffee With Veterans is TOMORROW! (Power is ON!) 🚗

Join us tomorrow, Saturday, September 12, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at RGB Coffee on Washington Street in Waynesburg!

⚡ If you heard talk of a scheduled West Penn Power outage on Washington Street for Saturday, rest easy—that work was moved to Sunday. The power and coffee pots will be running full steam tomorrow morning!

Our partners at the Waynesburg Walmart are providing a continental-style breakfast with pastries, fresh fruit, and such. All veterans, service members, and military families/friends are welcome.

Remembering 9/11: As we gather this weekend, we take a moment to reflect on September 11th—remembering the lives lost, honoring the first responders, and recognizing the fellow service members and families forever shaped by that day.

Bonus Event: Right as coffee wraps up at 10:00 AM, the Waynesburg 50s Fest and Car Show, presented by Battle and Thrive, begins right out front on Washington Street! Come for the coffee and camaraderie, and stay for the classic cars and community.

Today, on Purple Heart Day, the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs honors the brave men and women who were wounded or made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

The Purple Heart is a symbol of extraordinary courage, resilience, and selfless service. It serves as a lasting reminder of the tremendous sacrifices made by America's service members in defense of our freedoms.

We are forever grateful to Pennsylvania's Purple Heart recipients and their families. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten, and your legacy continues to inspire future generations.

73 years ago, the guns fell silent on the Korean Peninsula.

On July 27, 1953, the Korean Armistice Agreement was signed, bringing an end to over three years of relentless fighting that began when North Korean forces invaded across the 38th parallel on June 25, 1950.

Among the tens of thousands of Americans who made the ultimate sacrifice, 47 Marines and Navy Corpsmen were awarded the Medal of Honor for extraordinary heroism under fire.

Today, their sacrifice endures in the strength of South Korea's vibrant democracy and the unbreakable U.S.-ROK alliance. As President Dwight D. Eisenhower reflected, the armistice brought "free peoples one step nearer to their goal of a world at peace."

We remember their valor. We honor their sacrifice.
