REMINDER!!! The Easter membership sale and rental registration will take place TODAY from 9am-2pm at Northside Pool!

EASTER MEMBERSHIP SALE & RENTAL REGISTRATION

Memberships for the upcoming 2026 summer season will be on sale and available for purchase on April 4th from 9am-2pm at Northside Pool. Membership sale prices are valid April 4th only. Membership sale applications will be available on April 4th at Northside pool but can also be found at https://waynesboropa.gov/parks/northside-pool/

Daytime Pavilion Rentals include the use of our pavilion and admission for 20 guests for $75 per hour. The maximum number of guests is 50 people, with the first 20 people included in the rental fee; after 20 people there is an additional fee of $3.50 per person. Daytime Rentals can be booked for anytime during operational hours. Keep in mind the pool will still be open to the public!

Private Evening Rentals are $400 ($125 deposit + $275 day of rental). This price includes staffing, the pool facility, and admission of 100 people. Evening rentals can be booked for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings from 7:00-10:00 pm. These rentals are closed to the public!

Rental registration day will be held on April 4th from 9am-2pm at Northside Pool. This will be the ONLY opportunity to book an evening or daytime rental before opening weekend! All rentals are booked on a first come, first serve basis. We recommend booking your rental on April 4th as dates fill up quickly! We hope to see you there!

Construction update: New coping and tiles have been installed, the pump room has new pumps and motors and the base has been installed for new concrete decking. The pool walls and floor has been taken down to the original surface with over 3” of material removed. The deck, floor, and walls will be completed later this month. Construction (minus the large slide, which is still in production from the manufacturer) is on schedule to be finished at the beginning of May. Northside opens for the season, Memorial Day weekend.

Congratulations and Good Luck to our Lifeguard Mady Barker for qualifying for the PIAA High School State Swimming Championships. She is a bit modest, but we think she is kind of a big deal. Go Boro!

Due to an overwhelming number of applicants, we are no longer accepting lifeguard applications. We are still accepting applications for cashiers, concession cooks, and concessions workers. We appreciate your understanding!

It’s that time of year again! The 2026 summer season is quickly approaching and we are now accepting employment applications for the summer!
Positions include:
Lifeguards - must be 15 years old by May 10, 2026
Swim Lesson Instructors - must be at least 15 years old with previous experience
Cashiers - must be at least 14 years old by May 2026
Concessions Shift Leads- must be at least 15 years old with previous leadership experience
Concessions Cook - must be at least 15 years old by May, 2026
Concessions Worker - must be at least 14 years old by May, 2026
*Lifeguard applicants DO NOT need to hold a current certification as we will hold a lifeguard certification class prior to the start of the summer season.
Applications are available at The Borough of Waynesboro and online at https://waynesboropa.org/parks/northside-pool/ . All applications can be turned in or mailed to the Borough of Waynesboro, 55 E Main St. PO Box 301 Waynesboro, PA 17268. The interview process will begin in early March! We are excited to build our team for the 2026 summer season!

While the snow remains on the ground, the pump room is being rebuilt.

The large slide has been removed (the new one will not be delivered before opening day. It has not hit the assembly line yet).

A 15’ trench was dug, and new pipes were run from the deep end of the pool to the pump room.

The new concrete deck will be poured in early spring, and an ADA ramp from the parking lot, the tile will be installed, pool floor and walls will be coated in April.

Progress continues at Northside Pool. The large slide has been removed, our new filters have arrived and been installed, new benches have arrived, new slides are in process (due to manufacturing, the large slide will arrive after season opening), and a sketch of the final design has been approved. We are scheduled to open Memorial Day Weekend, 2026.
