🎸 Spotlight Saturday: The Foundry at Basic City Beer Co
Say hello to The Foundry—Virginia Metalcrafters Marketplace’s electrifying live music venue, born from a historic brass foundry. With room for 800+ music lovers, this 14,000 sq ft stage is where history meets harmony and every performance is an experience.

This venue has come a long way—starting with a 650-person capacity in 2023, expanding to 850, and now hosting sold-out tribute nights, alt-rock legends like Everclear, and dynamic regional acts.

Swing by to catch the energy, support local music, and experience why The Foundry is putting Waynesboro on the concert map.

We’re excited to welcome the Waynesboro Innovation Hub to Virginia Metalcrafters Marketplace!

This will be their third location in Virginia, and will bring coworking opportunities, collaboration, and creativity to Waynesboro. Their mission? To provide a vibrant space where entrepreneurs, remote workers, and small businesses can connect and thrive.

Doors won’t open until fall 2025, their logo now proudly joins our sign outside — and we can’t wait to see all the great things they’ll bring to the community!

Next up in our weekly highlight is Tattoo Mountain a tattoo studio rooted in the heart, home, and heritage.
Owners Schyler and Scott returned to their hometown of Waynesboro in order to open a space that embodies comfort and connection and feels more like a living room than a tattoo shop.
Whether you’re getting your first piece or adding to a collection, Tattoo Mountain offers a warm, welcoming environment where everyone feels at home.
