2 Days of Career Day at Waynesboro Primary School with the kindergarten class and the 1st grade class….ALL of them and the teachers, too!

Our young students will keep you young at heart and always on your toes! They learned a little about the Burke County Probate Court and what we do. I was humbled and enjoyed EVERY minute of it!

‼️National Groundhog Job Shadow Day‼️
Thank you Ms. Johnson for allowing your students to spend some time with the Burke County Probate Court.

On Tuesday February 4, 2025, seventeen Burke County High School Students participated in the National Groundhog Job Shadow Day which was coordinated by Ms. Kathy Johnson, Work Based Learning Coordinator. National Groundhog Job Shadow Day provides an opportunity for our students to get an up close view of jobs they may or may not want to pursue as well as see how academics are applied in the workplace.

New School Board Members Sworn In

On Monday, January 6, 2025, Jaymie Morris-Miettunen and Toni Ward-Buxton, newly elected Burke County Board of Education members, were officially sworn into office. Probate Court Judge Ashley Moore administered the oath at the Burke County Courthouse. Both Miettunen and Buxton are committed to advocating for the success of the school system and its students.
