🐾 18 YEARS ON THE HOMETOWN HUNT FOR A CURE! 🩷
As we begin the 18th year of our Bird Dog Breast Cancer T-Shirt Drive, we want to start with the most important words we can say: THANK YOU.
For 18 years, our wonderful community has graciously given of its resources, its kindness, and its heart to help provide breast healthcare for underserved women right here in Burke County.
Because of YOU, we have been able to provide mammogram screenings and diagnostic testing for women who do not qualify for Georgia’s Breast and Cervical Cancer Program. Through the years, your support has also helped women facing female cancers with expenses related to surgery and treatment—and has even helped us purchase wigs for women walking through some of their most difficult days.
Who would have thought 18 years ago that our little Bird Dog mascot would still be on the hometown hunt for Burke County? Yet here we are—18 years later—and he’s still hunting, because this community is still caring. 🐾🩷
To every person who has purchased a shirt, made a donation, shared a post, encouraged a survivor, or supported this effort in any way: thank you. What may seem like the purchase of a T-shirt has helped us do so much more.
We do have a couple of changes this year. Due to the significant increase in the cost of producing our Bird Dog shirts, we are sadly unable to provide complimentary shirts to our breast cancer survivors this year. To our survivors, please know this does not change how deeply we honor you or how firmly we continue to stand beside you in your fight. You remain at the heart of why we do this. 🩷
We are also excited to share that we have partnered with a new vendor this year, and we hope you love our Year 18 design just as much as we do!

🐾 All orders must be received by September 21 for guaranteed delivery by September 28.
Our goal is simple: shirts in hand before October 1 so Burke County can kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month together.
