Summer Reading Fun begins 6/8 for K-5th grade: Join Miss Meg for a cool journey this summer exploring the ancient world of dinosaurs through the elements Monday through Thursdays at 2pm. IMAX Movie Mondays, Special Guest Speakers on Tuesdays (and some Wednesdays!) with hands-on STEM in the Makerspace Wednesdays and Thursdays. It's a Dino-rific summer at AHFML. Registration recommended as sessions will fill.

Kids and families had a blast last night when children's book authors Floyd Stokes and Olivia Stokes visited our library to share stories, songs, snacks, and tons of fun!

Quick reminder that this Thursday is our next walk out at Renfrew Park! Meet us in the parking lot closest to the Renfrew museum and office buildings, on May 21st at 10:00 AM, and we'll stroll around together looking for migrating birds - special visitors who we only get to see in fall or spring. Sign up at the library to join us!

In May, we’ve gone on a Path Pictures photography walk with Bella at Renfrew Park, learned about smartphone basics with Kendal, welcomed local author John Poniske back for a dramatic reading, and made candles at The Vintage Flame, and that’s just a sampling! Bonus question: can you spot the great blue heron in the Path Pictures photos?

AHMFL enjoyed a visit from Franklin County Library System board member, Brian Ecker, as the FCLS board celebrates all Franklin County libraries in May. He was treated to a tour of our wonderful library and the staff was treated to a delicious lunch. AHMFL is proud to be a federated member of the FCLS.
