A SCHOOL VOUCHER BY ANOTHER NAME IS STILL A SCHOOL VOUCHER!

Call it a voucher, a school savings account or as in these bills a "tax credit" or "scholarship," it's still a voucher paid with taxpayers funds to pay for someone’s kid to go to a private school.
• It comes out of State tax revenue so it’s your tax dollar.
• It reduces funds in the State budget and potentially the money available for school funding.
• Public funding should not support private and religious education
• Not all private schools accept vouchers
• It’s the school’s choice: voucher schools can accept or reject students; while public schools must take all students
• Majority of voucher users in other states never sent their children to public schools at all
• 20-30% annual voucher exit rates in every study to ask the question
• Money wasted on third-party vendors to administer voucher programs
• In states like AZ and OH, state budgets for vouchers have ballooned to nearly $1 Billion. That’s right. Billion with a “B.”
