From Organizing Committee…

Cancelled….

It is with great frustration I share the news, that we are cancelling Peddle-Palooza and Corn-on-Cobb for this weekend,

With highs in the upper 60s and rain all day Saturday; and Sunday showing only a slight improvement, Mother Nature has other plans.
The organizing committee will weigh at our options and try to find an alternative date.
Believe me when I say, as much s this bums you out reading our announcement, we are equally bummed out having to make the decision.

Please do me a favor and let people know, if you know of people who usually come and enjoy this family event.
Thanks - Jeff, Anne, Bart and Audrey

Congrats to Jeff Tubergen, Chad Neff and Jill Tubergen for coming in one, two three in the Belly-Flop contest as part of ”Tie-One-On 2022” on Cobb Lake!!! Thanks to Mark and Jasmine DeRosia for planning and supplying the awesome prizes! Once we got started, the average was 7 and at the height, we counted 12 pontoon boats! Terrific day on the lake and we’re less than two weeks from ”Corn on the Cobb”! Please encourage friends to “like” and “visit” the Cobb Lake Association FB Page regularly!!!

A quick reminder as we head into the heat of the summer....Glass ois not our friend on Cobb Lake! There are two recent instances of glass being found in shallow water where children frequently play. Accidents happen, but if we leave the glass at home, we minimize the chances that someone will be seriously hurt! So far, it's summer to remember! Enjoy it! CLA

Visitor Cat in Olson's Subdivision

We have a visitor cat that continues to show up more frequently now, some days it won't even leave. Saturday it brought a rat to our front step. We're trying to find it's owner and make them aware of

Thanks, Zoran

CORN on COBB
Sat. Aug 14, 2021

We are just 4 days away from this year’s Corn on Cobb Celebration!
Corn on Cobb is a great family friendly way to celebrate summer with neighbors and friends on the best lake in Michigan!

PEDDLE-PALOOZA will again kick off the day. Peddle-Palooza is a ‘poker run’ where participants peddle, paddle, kayak, canoe (anything without a motor) around the lake to specific houses to pick up cards. At the end, the top 3 ‘poker hands’ all win cash prizes! Kids and adults of all ages are encouraged to participate!

There is a $5.00 entry fee. This year REGISTRATION will be at the Ulin house, which is the northern most house in the COVE. You will see the balloons. Registration is from 11:00am to Noon. We will collect Participant’s cards out at the Lighthouse at 2:00pm.

GAMES: Water games will be set up out at the Lighthouse by 2:00pm. Games such as Water Co****le and Volleyball just to mention a couple.

FOOD: Everyone is encouraged to bring a Dish to Pass. For fun, try to have one of the ingredients to contain some sort of corn. And of course, there will be SWEET CORN to eat on COBB Lake!!
