Since the Lord put it on my heart to run for District Clerk, I clung to Proverbs 3:5: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart…”

While I may not have received the outcome I hoped for, this season gave me something far greater. God walked me through a year of incredible community, new friendships, and the privilege of meeting so many people across Ellis County.

The verse continues, “…and lean not on your own understanding.” While my heart is a little faint tonight, my gratitude is abundant.

To my family, friends, church family, coworkers, and the legal community who supported, prayed, and encouraged me along the way, thank you. I am deeply grateful.

The inheritance from this journey was the people, the faith, the resiliency in the journey and the reminder that God’s plans are always bigger than our own. I look forward to continuing to serve the people of Ellis County through my work in Judge Chapman’s court.

When I look back on this last year, I’m honestly amazed by our Ellis County community.

The people I’ve met. The way I’ve watched neighbors serve their community, serve each other, and serve their families. It has brought me so much joy. It has been such a privilege to connect with you, Ellis County.

I would not be here without my family and friends, the legal community, and my church family. So many of you have walked beside me in this journey.

I have never once regretted taking this step, even in moments of uncertainty.

When I spoke at the Texas Theater, it was a small group. I didn’t have a piece of paper in my hand, which usually gives me comfort. I just spoke from my heart. And I said this:

I didn’t know how I was going to do this. I had very little money for a campaign. I had no campaign experience, even though I work for an elected official. But I took a step of faith.

And I could hear the Lord saying, “Keep going.”

And people came around me. The legal community. My coworkers. My friends. My family. My church family. They donated. They encouraged me. They prayed for me.

And I just kept going.

Tomorrow, March 3rd, is the last day to cast your vote for me.

I am very qualified for this position, and I have worked incredibly hard to get here because I truly love the court system and the Ellis County community.

Thank you for walking this road with me. Now, let's bring this home!

Tianta’s campaign has always been about more than politics. It’s about a true life of service. From her dedicated work within the District Clerk’s Office, to supporting the legal community, to serving through her church and throughout Ellis County, service has always been at the core of who she is.

She knows this role is about people, young families, lifelong residents, and hardworking citizens, who rely on an efficient and trustworthy justice system. Her experience, leadership, and servant’s heart have prepared her to make an immediate impact from day one.
