Slow Sunday at the pool — nice and quiet, and the kids who came had a blast without the usual crowds! ☀️🏊‍♀️😊 Looking forward to tonight’s pool party with a sweet family 🎉👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. Big thanks to our guards today: Avery, Ragan, Harper, Madelyn, Ryleigh, and Layken — a couple of guards had to leave for the party, and Liza stepped in to help out. 🛟👏

Rainy day at the pool — we went through the items left behind to see if we can find the owners. Please check the pictures to see any of these items belong to you or your kids. We have them in the office area.

Saturday at the pool was full of surprises! ☀️🌧️ Huge thanks to Guards Jack, Avery, Brayden, Harper, Sydney, and Leah for handling whatever came their way with professionalism and a smile — every day here is different and they rise to the challenge! 👏🏊‍♀️

We were sorry to cancel Cameron’s pool party because of the storm — Happy Birthday, Cam! 🎉🎂 From all of us at Waverly City Pool: we’ll celebrate with you soon! 🎈💙

Friday, June 12 — Rain delayed us until 1 PM, so we started slow, but by the 6 PM pool party the clouds cleared and the sun shone bright! Great celebration for a young man with a fantastic team on duty: head guards Avery and Ragan, and guards Harper, Madelyn, Mady, and Graydi. Thanks to everyone who came — perfect ending to a rainy day!

What a day at the pool! ☀️ Temperatures hit 90° and we had a big, happy crowd cooling off and having fun in the water 🌊😎. Huge thanks to our guards Jack, Avery, Brayden, Mady, Graydi, and Liza — they kept everyone safe and energized 🛟👏. The team is ready to host a pool party tonight 🎉🏊‍♂️ and will be back at 11:00 AM tomorrow — see you then! ⏰✨

Important pool update: footballs are allowed again this year, but only soft-sided (non-leather) footballs. Leather footballs are not permitted in the pool under any circumstances.

We stopped allowing leather footballs previously after someone was hit in the face. Over the past few weeks there have been a few near misses, so out of caution and for everyone’s safety we are continuing the ban on leather footballs.

Please bring only soft-sided pool-friendly footballs and follow lifeguard directions. Anyone using prohibited equipment may be asked to leave or secure their item off-deck. Thank you for helping keep the pool safe.

Attention: The pool is reserved for June 24th, but the person who made the reservation has not paid the $100 deposit. Another person would like to reserve that date. If you reserved the pool for June 24th, please call the City Pool ASAP at 931-209-0321. We have a name on the reservation but no cell number. Thank you.

During their swim break today, guards Brayden, Ragan, Lauren, Jack, Liza, and Leah joined a few young swimmers at the small pool for a quick picture with the future life guards.
