If any of this trash looks familiar to you, don’t throw away your summons on the side of the road like you did this trash…. Failure to appear will make things so much worse! In addition to removing this trash we also sent out of few summonses for littering at this dump site! See you in the Pike County Court.

As a friendly reminder, we do investigate and issue citations for littering, which could carry up to a 500 dollar fine and up to 60 days in jail.

Tuesday (5/12/26) Officer Risner had The Pike County Prosecutor’s Diversion Program out on Newland Ridge Rd. A total of 60 tires (car and semi) were removed from the site. As the weather warms up we will be out more and more so keep letting us know where illegal dump sites are located.

Please keep in mind that sometimes we just can’t simply go onto private property when there is a dump site. In cases like that we would ask that you also contact the Pike County Health Department at (740)947-7721 to report illegal dumps sites. The prosecutor’s office and the health department work very closely together to help keep Pike County Beautiful
