The public will take notice that the regular meeting of the Humphreys County Joint Economic and Community Development Board (JECDB) scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, 2026, has been canceled. The Board will resume its regular meeting schedule in July 2026.

COUNTY-WIDE STRATEGIC PLAN REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals received in response to the uHumphreys County County-Wide Strategic Plan Request for Proposals will be publicly opened on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at the Rawlings Bldg, Count Commissioner Board Room, 102 Thompson Street, Waverly, Tennessee.

The cancellation of the June 24, 2026, Joint Economic and Community Development Board meeting does not affect the scheduled public opening of proposals, which will occur as noticed.

Humphreys County Government offices, the Landfill, and all Convenience Centers will be closed on Friday, June 19th, in observance of Juneteenth.

Humphreys County Government joined community partners today to unveil the Waverly Healing Mural at Ascension Saint Thomas Three Rivers Hospital.

Created by Tennessee based artist Alexis Anderson of Beneath Twisted Ferns, the mural was funded through the Tennessee Arts & Rural Health Initiative, a partnership of the Tennessee Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts.

The project was made possible through the collaboration of Ascension Saint Thomas Three Rivers Hospital, Humphreys County Government, the Humphreys County Arts Council, the Humphreys County Chamber of Commerce, and community members who provided input during the design process.

The mural celebrates the beauty and character of Humphreys County and will serve as a welcoming feature for patients, families, visitors, and staff for years to come.
