Our history is restored! This week, town maintenance workers installed a brand-new historical marker along the walking trail at Kenimer St. It replaces an original sign on Hwy 208 that had been damaged and missing for several years. The restoration project was made possible through a partnership with the Georgia Historical Society, which helped coordinate the research and production of the new landmark to ensure the town’s heritage remains preserved for future generations.
