Exciting News!!! We’ve raised $89,000 toward our $150,000 Hope Match so far!

We are so grateful for every person who has given, shared, and cheered us on. We’ve got $61,000 to go by October 31, and I’m asking you to help us get there!

October 8 is DAF Day!

DAF stands for Donor-Advised Fund, and if you have one, this is your friendly nudge to put those charitable dollars to work!

Consider recommending a grant to Safe Families for Children Greater Milwaukee to help keep children safe and families together. Your generosity helps surround parents facing overwhelming circumstances with people who show up, open their homes and remind them they don’t have to do life alone.

October is domestic violence awareness month. Last year (2025) in Wisconsin 99 people lost their lives to domestic violence. If anyone is experiencing domestic violence or an abusive partner please know you are not alone.

If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, help is available 24/7 through the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233) or by texting "START" to 88788.

💡 Today’s the day!!! 💡
We’re gearing up with our Safe Families Blend Coffee on ice to start the day!

PLOT TWIST! We fired the keynote speaker and made a movie instead.

Just kidding, we never actually hired a speaker.

But we DID somehow squeeze 15 years of Safe Families in Milwaukee into one documentary short. The people, the stories, the growth, the hard stuff and SO much evidence of God showing up over and over again.

We cannot WAIT for you to see it tonight!

Apparently we’re documentary people now. 😂 🙌🏻

Special thanks to our own Jessica F for directing and producing it! Also Logan for his incredible videography and editing skills! More on that to come!

In 2025 our team saw a large unmet need of Christmas support for the families we serve. Our incredible volunteers stepped in generously! This year, we are launching our Safe Families for Children Christmas Angel Tree. These tags will be created by our families, with their volunteers they are in relationship with. The tags will then be shared on trees in our community! Would you like to host a tree? 🎉 ANNOUNCEMENT FOR NATIONAL COFFEE DAY!!! ☕️ 🎉

This feels like the perfect day to share something we’ve been REALLY excited about: we’re partnering with to create our very own Safe Families Coffee Blend!

We love Bellagoose’s heart for God, people, and coffee. They also serve and support people affected by trafficking, which makes this partnership especially meaningful to us.

Proceeds from our blend will support Safe Families, and Bellagoose also gives back through its foundation to support survivors of trafficking. Good coffee doing good things. 🤍

Your first chance to purchase Safe Families Blend will be at Be The Light! We’ll share more soon about how to get your hands (and mugs) on it. ☕️

Okay... we've been waiting to share this one! It's a miracle we didn't spoil it... and by we, we mean Bethany. 🤐

Thanks to some incredibly generous donors, we’re going into Be The Light 2026 with a $150,000 Hope Match! That means gifts made toward our Be The Light event can go twice as far to help keep children safe and families together.
