Today, we celebrated the incredible participants of the Senior Tax Exchange Program (STEP) at the Wauwatosa Senior Centers! This groundbreaking program, launched by the Wauwatosa Recreation Department, has connected more than 50 seniors with our elementary students to share stories, skills, and a love for learning. 📚

By fostering intergenerational connections, STEP has strengthened our community and schools. These dedicated seniors have spent countless hours supporting students and library staff, proving that learning truly knows no age. 🙌

The occasion at Roosevelt Elementary was more than a farewell visit to an old school. These Tosa East seniors were joining the entire school community in saying goodbye to Mark Supa, who is retiring after 16 years at the school.

Congratulations to Wauwatosa West High School Senior Drum Major, Cameron Coraggio, who was recently honored as one of the first recipients of the Anthony J. Petullo Leadership Award by the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra! 🏆 This prestigious award celebrates students who exhibit exceptional leadership, service, character, and commitment to their school and community. The award was presented during the Fanfare and Finale Concert at the Bradley Symphony Center on May 3. Join us in celebrating Cameron's incredible achievement! 👏
