all summer! kicks off 6/7 (lol no we didn't make it 6/7 on purpose - my kids tell me that's so 2025)

free for members, $20 for non-members

for every 10 minutes kids read they get to fill in a circle on their reading tracker. as they read, they'll hit reading milestones & visit Tosa hot spots to redeem their rewards 🍦 (think: free ice cream, free kids meals, free prizes & more!)

when i opened little village, i knew we’d get to be a part of the big moments in our community. birthdays & baptisms & 1st steps & 1st words & 1st trips down the slide. & we have. it is one of the greatest honors of my life.

but tbh, i underestimated how big the moments we get to celebrate for our team would be too.

swipe thru, bc this week was full of special life moments for our staff. 👉👉

🎓 MISS GABBY became DR. GABBY (an actual doctorate. i’m STILL not over it). she just graduated from , & her thesis centered on social & emotional learning thru sensory activities, based on a full semester of research conducted right here at little village thru our messy magic series. so proud of you, .imtheot!!

💃 our high school crew (caris, maya, nora, olivia o, maggie & abbie) lit up tosa east prom. many of them joined the team as freshmen, & watching them grow into the intelligent, confident & hard-working humans has been one of the great joys of running little village.

🌟 we said a summer goodbye to one of our team leads - joe, who’s headed up to door county to work for this summer. their shows are performed under the stars at peninsula state park & it is genuinely magical, so if you’re vacationing up north, go catch a show & say hi from us! joe will be back in the fall & we cannot WAIT to hear all about his summer adventures. 🌲

🌿 last but not least - .elizabethrogers & pulled off our very 1st gather & grow maker's market of the season, a beautiful success despite a truly chaotic week of sketchy weather forecasts.

i’m simply so proud of this team. & so grateful to lead them. & little village is honored to be the backdrop, the thread running thru all of these super special chapters.
