Wausau Fire and Rescue held our department Christmas party this evening and celebrated the achievements of the past year with food, fun, and fellowship. We also recognized several deserving individuals for their contributions to safeguarding the safety of our community.

Recognized were: Cheryl Beth Fortune and Todd and Tina Goodman for their continued acts of service and hours of volunteerism; Firefighter Joe Phillips for most calls; Firefighter Jeff Martin as Firefighter of the Year; and Will Crawford, WFD Chief Mike “Cowboy” Owens, and Dylan Rudd for five years of dedicated service.
