Us who serve on the Waurika Board Cemetery Association were both proud and honored to have served together on the board with Terri Brown. She, like us, took so much pride in the Cemetery and loved what was happening at the Cemetery. She served until she no longer could serve no more.
A wreath in her honor has been hung at the Cemetery. We remember her dedication to the Cemetery, her love for not only her family,friends, but for the town. Most importantly- we remember her love for her church and her love for the Lord. Our friend- this one is for you!

Honor Wreaths with bells all put up today. Just waiting on name plates to arrive and we will be adding the names.
Honor weaths with your loved ones name on them still available.
$100 per wreath for 1st year and 75.00 per wreath thereafter each year.
Message if you would like to purchase 1 or more Wreaths.
All $$$ goes into cemetery fund to pay for upkeep and future projects.

Our Annual Christmas Honor Wreath Fundraiser is kicking off.
Wreaths will be hung over the Christmas holidays until just after the 1st of the New Year 2026.
This is one of the ways you can publicly honor your loved one(s) with their names on the bells hanging from the wreath which in turn, will be displayed along the entrance fence along Hwy 70.

Price for new wreaths-$100 per wreath
Renewals-$75 per wreath

We depend on this and any contributions to help keep the Cemetery operational such as upkeep like mowing and the Cemetery landscaping such as tree trimming.
With more contributional funds, we hope to do some upgrades in the future.
Message us if you would like a wreath along with family member(s)names.

Waurika Cemetery is a non profit and we need your donations for upgrades and future projects that would make our cemetery even better.
We also need the money for upkeep exoenses such as mowing and also tree service. The cemetery is large and takes money to keep it looking nice as you all have seen before you now.
Yes, we still have money in bank accounts( all which is transparent to the public), but as funds start to get depleted , we are asking for your help by donating.
We have many ideas on how to improve the place we love but need your help.
Right now, we need your help in 2 ways.

Our thoughts and prayers are with our fellow boad member family.
Terri Brown has passed from this life to her forever life. We enjoyed her friendship and serving on the board with her. She always wanted the very best for our beautiful place on the hill. With her watching over us, we will continue to do our best for our cemetery. Truly all of our honor to serve with you on the board sweet lady. Our faith shall lead us from here! Until we meet again! 🥰💔😭

Please confined vehichle traffic to the main roads. DO NOT drive into the grassy areas please. Help keep our cemetery beautiful and rut free.

Due to the threat of severe weather with all hazards possible including strong winds, hail, heavy rains, we have made the hard decision not to put out flags this year for Memorial Day. We want to keep the flags in as good shape as possible and the weather we could have could wear and even destroy break the wooden dowel poles, or even blow the flags away.
We Thank and Honor all those who are buried in our beautiful cemetery.
Feel free to put flags at you loved one Graves if you would like. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Meet: in middle of cemetery by flag pole

WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO OR SAY EXCEPT WE BEG YOU TO REFRAIN FROM DRIVING OUT IN THE CEMETERY FOR A FEW DAYS.
IT IS STILL VERY WET AND 1 PERSON HAS GOT STUCK AND HAD TO BE PULLED OUT MAKING DEEP RUTS.ANOTHER PICKUP LAST WEEK LEFT RUTS IN THE GRASSY AREAS.
PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE IN THE CEMETERY UNTIL IT DRIES OUT!
HELP KEEP OUR CEMETERY BEAUTIFUL!
