📞 Phone Scam Warning – Waupun Utilities

We’ve recently learned that some customers calling Waupun Utilities at 920-324-7920 may receive a scam or fraud warning from their cellular provider stating that the number they are calling is “likely a scam” and recommending that they hang up.

We have specifically received reports involving T-Mobile’s Scam Shield, but if you receive a similar warning from your cellular provider when calling Waupun Utilities, please know that 920-324-7920 is our legitimate business phone number.

This is the same number Waupun Utilities has had for many years and is the number published on our website, utility bills, and other official Waupun Utilities communications.

We are unsure why this warning is appearing and have reached out to the appropriate parties in an effort to get the issue resolved. We’re hopeful the warning will be corrected soon.

In the meantime, if you receive a scam or fraud warning when calling 920-324-7920, please know that you have reached the legitimate Waupun Utilities business number.

As always, please continue to be vigilant and use caution with unexpected calls, texts, emails, or requests for personal or financial information.

Thank you for your patience and understanding!
