‼ Office Hours Update ‼

The Allamakee County Farm Bureau Office in Waukon, Iowa will be closed on Monday, May 25th for the Holiday. We will reopen for our normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26th. ✨Scholarship Recipient Spotlight✨

Keira Paus, daughter of Tim and Charlene Paus, attended Luther High School and plans to attend the University of Northern Iowa to study biology with a biomedical emphasis. During high school, Keira was very involved in athletics, music, and student organizations. She participated in varsity tennis, softball, and basketball, along with choir and Sound Foundation, and was active in Student Council and National Honor Society, where she served as secretary. Keira also took on leadership roles across many of her activities, helping mentor younger students and encouraging her teammates and peers. Her dedication earned her numerous honors, including all-conference recognition in tennis, a state tennis qualification, multiple scholar athlete awards, and music achievements.

Keira plans to continue her education into the medical field, with goals of becoming a physician assistant or optometrist, and hopes to eventually return to a rural community like the one she grew up in. Coming from a family farm, she understands the importance of strong healthcare in agricultural communities and wants to serve the people who often put others before themselves. Keira is passionate about making a difference in rural areas by providing quality, trustworthy care and supporting the communities that have shaped her.
