‼️ Water Outage Update ‼️

Crews are still working on the water main break, but repairs should be complete and water pressure should start coming back online soon! Hopefully overnight will give the system a chance to re-pressurize and everything should return to normal by tomorrow.

We’d like to give a big ‘Thank You’ to the PWA crew for putting in all the hard work and extra hours to make these repairs!

🚨 Water Outage 🚨

The PWA Department has been, and is still currently out on a main water line break along Hayward Road and Cleveland. Customers north and west of that intersection are currently without water. This is a large feed line that is creating a very difficult repair.

There is a potential that the water supply in town may need to be temporarily shut down to aid in the repair. We will post updates if the need arises.

Work continues on our water system today with updates to the pumps at the water tower in town. Crews are installing a temporary pump as part of the rebuild at the well house and the new temporary pump should be installed by the end of the day. Water pressure will be down today as those pumps are swapped around.

Please be patient with our PWA department as these upgrades are completed. These repairs are part of the grants the town has received to update our water systems. Water pressure should be restored by the end of the day unless unforeseen issues arise.

09/18/2025

The PWA Department is currently tending to an unexpected failure with a lift pump at the water tower. Water pressure around town will be lower than normal until the repairs can be facilitated and we ask that everyone try and conserve water as much as possible throughout the coming days. We will update again once repairs have been completed, but at this time, there is no estimated time on repairs.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while the PWA team works to resolve the issues!
