25 years. It was a terrible day for America. So much has changed. People are trying to divide us, and in some ways they have succeeded. Show them otherwise. Please stand United for all those innocent people who lost their lives, for all those Fire Fighters and First Responders who lost their lives and all the families left behind.

The Oklahoma City Fire Department extends our deepest condolences to the Wellston Fire Department following the loss of one of its firefighters, who was injured while battling a wildfire Monday.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, fellow firefighters and the entire Wellston community during this difficult time.

Correction to this previous post. Garfield County is not under a burn ban, but still don’t be “ That Guy”. Conditions are ripe for wildfires. Please be attentive and avoid burning if possible. Remember to call in any controlled burns.
