At Waukesha County Health & Human Services, our divisions work together to support a healthier, stronger community.

That's why Veterans Services is excited to share that our Public Health Division has partnered with Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin to promote the Waukesha County Community Health Survey.

Veterans understand the importance of service, and this is another opportunity to make a difference. Just as blood donors help save lives, your feedback can help shape future health programs, services, and resources throughout Waukesha County.

If you're a Waukesha County resident age 18 or older, please consider taking about 15 minutes to complete the survey.

Thank you to Versiti and our Public Health Division for this partnership—and thank you to all who continue to serve our community.

Floodwaters can carry bacteria, chemicals, and other contaminants into private wells, making water unsafe to drink, cook, or prepare food.
Watch for signs of contamination:
- Floodwater reached your well
- Changes in taste, color, or sediment
- Shallow or basement wells near flooded areas
When in doubt, don’t use your water until it’s tested.

Veterans can request to have their veteran status included on their driver's license.

One of the best ways to show you're a veteran upon request is on your Wisconsin Driver's License. In Wisconsin, veterans can request to have their veteran status included on their driver's license when renewing or requesting a new license with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

The veteran identifier on your license allows veterans to more easily show their veteran status to organizations and businesses that offer unique benefits or discounts for goods and services for veterans. This is just one of the many benefits available to our state's veterans!

Veterans - You can also contact your local county or tribal veteran service office to get assistance with your license. Find your nearest CVSO or TVSO here: https://dva.wi.gov/resources/find-my-cvso-tvso/
