Some kids are soccer kids. Some are scouting kids. Some are little musicians. And, of course, their parents become soccer moms and dads, scout leaders, or chaperones to dozens of music recitals. In our family, our two beautiful older daughters are Make-A-Wish Kids. They’ve each had the honor of having the most amazing wish granted by this incredible organization that has been helping terminally il
l children and their families for more than 30 years. And for that, we are a Make-A-Wish Family. We just found out that our youngest will also become a wish kid like her sisters, all living and coping with terminal illnesses. Years ago, when Make-A-Wish offered our family a trip to see the Disney princesses, our girls returned home wanting only one more thing – to help another child experience the love and joy of a granted wish. So, the Annual Giera Birthday Bash and Make-A-Wish Fundraiser was born. We are honored to give back on a yearly basis!
