Waukesha Wings boys co-op season wrapped up their 25-26 season after some big conference wins, painfully close losses, packed stands, and awesome student section. The Wings claimed a CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP, the CLASSIC 8 SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD, and the program had 5 ATHLETES earning ALL CONFERENCE HONORS.

FIRST TEAM ALL CONFERENCE - GOALIE: Thomas Radomski (North)
FIRST TEAM ALL CONFERENCE - FORWARD: Lucas Franz (West)
SECOND TEAM ALL CONFERENCE - FORWARD: Jason Rzepinski (West)
SECOND TEAM ALL CONFERENCE - DEFENSE: Chance Wake (Catholic Memorial)
HONORABLE MENTION - FORWARD: Joshua Thombs (Pewaukee)

Congratulations to the State Qualifying West/South Gymnastic Team and to Lexi Hummer & Kira Sereno for qualifying for state as individuals.
Top 10 finishers from sectionals included:
Lexi Hummer - 2nd place on vault (9.075), 7th place on bars (8.05), 2nd place on beam (9.5), Sectional floor champ (9.4), 2nd place All-Around (36.025)
Kira Sereno - 3rd place on floor (9.275), 6th place on beam (9.3), 9th place All-Around (33.525)
Kaylynn Braun - 7th place on beam (9.225), 8th place on floor (8.525)
Courtney Sereno - 9th place on floor (8.5)
State team competition is coming up on Friday 03/06 and individual competition will be Saturday, 03/07. We can’t wait!

Waukesha Gymnastics spent Valentine's Day at the Nordy Invite in Mukwonago on Saturday. The Waukesha West/South team took 2nd place (136.25). We also had many shining individuals:

JV:
Laney Rzepinski - 4th place on beam (7.7)
Brooke Machata - 5th place on beam (7.55)

Varsity:
Lexi Hummer - 5th place on Vault (8.85), 4th place on Bars (8.8 ), 1st place on Beam (9.65), 1st place on Floor (9.5), 1st place All-Around (36.8 )!
Kira Sereno - 3rd place on Floor (9.35)
Kaylynn Braun - tied for 9th place on Beam (9.025)
Courtney Sereno - tied for 9th place on floor (8.75)
