Quick clarification about SB23/AB97

05/06/2025

Correction/clarification: SB23 passed the Senate - It’s companion AB97 is what Vos & Sortwell are blocking.

—————-

We need to support new moms in Wisconsin by bringing SB23 out of committee and to the Senate floor for a vote.

Expand Medicaid coverage for new moms post baby from 60 days to 1 year.

We are one of TWO states that haven’t done this - the other is Arkansas.

Lets go moms - what do you want for Mother’s Day?

Huge shoutout to everyone who supported me and took the time to vote—I cannot thank you enough. So, the results didn’t exactly go our way... as I said to my daughter, you can't win them all.

This isn’t the end of the road. We’ve sparked some meaningful conversations and laid the groundwork for good things ahead. I couldn’t have done any of it without you - thanks for being amazing! 😽

Did you know? Waukesha Common Council member Rick Lemke is now endorsed and funded by WisRED, a far-right PAC that pushes extreme conservative policies.

Our local non-partisan elections should be about representing our community, not serving outside political agendas. Waukesha deserves leaders who prioritize residents over partisan influence.

Stay informed and vote wisely!
