New baseball diamond sand, new fill around the playground equipment, and a brand new sandbox for little siblings to play in during older siblings' ball games! Thank you L.G. Everist, Inc. for the generous donation of all the sand to update our park. And thank you to Eric, Devlin, and our City Maintenance Dept. for their time and efforts putting it all together. First home baseball game will be this Thursday at 6pm starting with TeeBall, followed by Peewees, and then Softball.

The primary election will be held Tuesday June 2nd, 2026. In Waubay, the polling location is the Waubay Community Center at 20 E. 2nd Ave., Waubay, SD. The polls will be open from 7a.m.- 7p.m. This is a Republican Primary only due to lack of opposition on the Democratic ticket. There are also no City of Waubay elections due to lack of opposition (the unopposed candidates and appointees will take their oaths in July). Below you will find copies of the sample ballots, though for County Commissioners you will vote only for your appropriate Commissioner District not all three.
