In the veterans resource center, building 104, in the VFW vso office. This space will be open and it will be just you and myself. The VFW service officer isn’t there until noon. I am happy to help and excited for the opportunity.

Another gentle reminder.
We can not speak or talk about your claim over face book messenger
It violates your privacy on sensitive disabilities. It violates HIPPA amongst other things. Moving forward, if we are your service officer, we will not respond to questions concerning your claim. If you have questions about your claim, please call the office at 815-432-2721

Posting because there is an issue that needs to be addressed.
When calling my office, please speak to those whom answer the phone with dignity and respect. Donna is worthy of your respect and worthy to be treated with dignity. She is a loyal and knowledgeable Veteran service officer and office assistant . Speak to her as if you would speak to me. Both she and I will do whatever it takes to help you however, neither she or I will put up with being treated poorly. In a sense, the way you speak and treat her is if you are speaking directly to me.

There is some very exciting news upon the horizon. Starting April 15, 2026 I will be volunteering 2 days a month at the Danville VA medical center. I will be there helping female veterans file their claims for VA service connected disability. I will be there the first and third Wednesday mornings from 0900 until noon.
I saw that there was a need for female service officer, to address sensitive issues of female veterans. I am also there for sensitive issues of male veterans as well. We are still working on specifics on where I will be located I will post them here. I am certain that it will be in the same location as the other service officers and near the patient advocate. I am really excited for this opportunity.
