We still have some spaces left in next week's Cross Country Camp, taking place Monday-Thursday, June 15-18, 8-11 a.m. at Oconee Veterans Park. The camp is coed, ages 10-18. $132 for Oconee County residents, $264 for non-residents. Register online at https://register.communitypass.net/OconeeCounty.

Over the course of the summer, we will be performing maintenance on various athletic fields, resulting in rolling temporary field closures. We appreciate your patience as we work to maintain and improve our facilities, and ask that everyone please respect the FIELD CLOSED signs.

June 8-12: The Bogart Sports Center fields will be closed for field maintenance. NO activity may take place on these fields during this closure.

June 8-July 31: The OVP Soccer Fields will be closed for maintenance, rest, and restoration. NO activity may take place on these fields during this closure

June 15-July 31: The OVP Multipurpose Fields (Fields 5-7) will be closed for maintenance working to improve drainage. NO activity may take place on these fields during this closure.

June 22-26: OVP Baseball/Softball Fields (Fields 1-4) will be closed for topdressing and potential laser grading. NO activity may take place on these fields during this closure.

The Oconee Veterans Memorial Foundation, Inc. will host a Memorial Day program on Monday, May 25, at the Oconee County Veterans Memorial located at Oconee Veterans Park. The program will begin at 11 a.m. IN THE EVENT OF INCLEMENT WEATHER, THE CEREMONY WILL BE MOVED INSIDE THE GYMNASIUM AT HERMAN C. MICHAEL PARK.

Veteran Organizations are encouraged to set up display tents beginning at 10 a.m. to share information and encourage Veteran membership. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, as seating will be limited.
