Twenty-five years later, the events of September 11 remain a powerful reminder of both profound loss and extraordinary courage.

Today, the Watkins Glen Central School District remembers those who lost their lives, honors the first responders who answered the call, and recognizes the many survivors, rescue and recovery workers, and families who continue to be impacted by 9/11-related illnesses and lasting effects.

As we reflect on this day, we honor the resilience, service, and unity that emerged from tragedy and continue to inspire our nation. May we carry forward those lessons and help future generations understand the importance of compassion, sacrifice, and coming together in times of challenge.
