Please be advised that on September 16th, at 7:30am,the Town of Dix Highway department will finish the oil and stone surface treatment on Townsend Road. The work will begin at the intersection of CR 16 and progress to Whites Hollow. We kindly request your patience and cooperation during this time. Starting Tuesday, July 1st, the Town of Dix Highway crew will surface-treat Dug Road, Catlin Hill Road, Bronson Hill Road, and Vanzant Hollow Road with oil and stone. The Townhall parking lot will be closed starting Thursday, October 17 and will reopen on Monday 21st to normal business. We are doing new paving to the parking lot. Please do not drive on it.

Update the Montour falls fire department will be closing their shelter at 9pm they will be more than willing to help you till then, they need to go home and get some much needed rest. These and all county first responders did a great job over the last 24 hours. If you see any of them thank them.

The Beaver Dams fire department and the Montour falls fire department are open to town residents that need some place to go for a shelter or cool off. Stop by either if you want.

Traffic Notice:
Town of Dix Highway notice for Townsend Road from CR 16 heading east towards Meads Hill Road for 1.5 miles will be getting paved starting July 11th at 630am and will finish Friday afternoon. Please be patient and expect travel delays while project is being done. Townsend Road is marked as a construction zone, please follow suggested speeds while driving in the construction zone.
