🎨 Just ONE WEEK to go! 🎨

Art & About: Jim White Memorial Paint Out kicks off May 29 through June 2, 2026, and Waterville is about to be filled with creativity. In just one week, artists will be painting en plein air throughout town, choosing their own locations and welcoming the public to stop, watch, and experience the art as it happens.

Once the Paint Out wraps up, the artwork created during the event will be displayed at the Waterville Library as part of the AW Inspiration Art Exhibit, open through July 24.

This meaningful event honors the memory of Jim White, a cherished local artist who participated every year and was known not only for his talent in oil and charcoal, but for inviting children to join him by adding brushstrokes to his paintings. Many of his works proudly feature children’s signatures alongside his own, a lasting reminder of his generosity and love for art and community.

Get ready to explore Waterville through the eyes of artists. We’re only one week away.
