The Chamber Golf Classic on June 8th was a huge success, with perfect weather, great company, and plenty of fun on the course. Thank you to all of our golfers, sponsors, and volunteers who helped make the day so memorable!

While no one took home the Million Dollar Hole-in-One prize or the Ford Bronco Sport, there were still plenty of winners, great prizes, and lots of smiles all around.

Thanks for making this year's tournament one to remember—we can't wait to do it again next year!

Thank you to our Chamber Golf Classic major event sponsors: Central Maine Power and Maine State Credit Union.

With Summer just around the corner, a bright future just got even brighter at the Waterville Municipal Pool.

The Mid-Maine Chamber was honored to join city officials, community members, and project partners for a ribbon cutting celebrating the completion of a new solar roof installation at the Waterville Municipal Pool.

This exciting project is expected to reduce pool house operational costs by approximately 40%, creating substantial savings that can help support and sustain this beloved community resource for years to come. It's a great example of how smart investments today can benefit residents, families, and future generations.

Congratulations to the City of Waterville, AYCC, Sundog Solar and everyone who helped make this project a reality. We are proud to celebrate this milestone and look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on our region.

Thanks to our Ribbon Cutting event sponsors: Pye-Barker Fire & Safety and Summit Natural Gas of Maine and thanks to The Robin's Nest for providing a beautiful arrangement for the event.

We’re continuing our Pop-By Series one kernel at a time — visiting our members, bringing popcorn, checking in, and celebrating the incredible businesses that make our community strong.

A big thank-you to our series sponsor, Film Center, for providing their famously delicious popcorn — proudly known as the “Best in the Universe.”

Our latest Pop-By stop was at Buddies Groceries in Oakland, where we enjoyed the chance to connect with Sandy and spotlight this community staple. They truly have something for everyone - and their prepared homemade meals make grab-n-go dining a convenient and tasty option for busy days.

It was wonderful to stop in, share some popcorn, and recognize another valued chamber member making a difference in our community.

Big things are happening in the Waterville area.

The Mid-Maine Chamber is partnering with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation to host a unique competition that encourages young Mainers to engage in civics and contribute to their communities. Participating 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will flex their civics knowledge by exploring an issue in their community, proposing a solution, and competing for a chance to win recognition and cash prizes.

The Chamber worked hard to bring this event to our community because we believe in investing in young leaders. This is the kind of work chambers do behind the scenes every day - creating opportunities that bring visitors to our region and strengthen our communities today and for the future.

Shout out to Colby College for hosting the event at the Gordon Center and making sure every detail is accounted for! We’re excited to showcase our area, welcome visitors from away, and highlight the importance of civic learning for the next generation.

Thank you to our Civics Bee event sponsors: KVCC Kennebec Valley Community College, Bernstein Shur, Waterville Rotary Noon Club and Preti Flaherty.

We’re continuing our Pop-By Series one kernel at a time — visiting our members, bringing popcorn, checking in, and celebrating the incredible businesses that make our community strong.

A big thank-you to our series sponsor, Maine Film Center, for providing their famously delicious popcorn — proudly known as the “Best in the Universe.”

Our latest Pop-By stop was at Oakland Furniture, where we had the chance to connect with Kelly and learn more about the business. One thing was clear: Kelly is proud to be carrying on the work her father started and continuing the legacy he built while also putting her own touches here and there.

It was wonderful to stop by, share some popcorn, and highlight another valued chamber member with deep roots in our community.
