Each day, distracted driving claims at least eight lives. Taking your eyes, hands, or mind off driving for even a moment can have serious consequences, whether it is glancing at a phone, eating, or simply losing focus.

Our crews are working along roadways to maintain and protect essential water service. Please slow down, stay focused, and give them the space they need so everyone makes it home safely.

June is National Safety Month.

Safety isn’t just something we talk about, it’s something we try to build into every part of the day, for our team and the community we serve.

It’s also a good time to check in on the little things that keep everyone safe at work, at home, and everywhere in between.

If you want to dig in a bit more or share resources, you can find helpful materials here: https://www.nsc.org/workplace/national-safety-month?_gl=1*2v2jg0*_up*MQ..&gclid=CjwKCAjwmYCzBhA6EiwAxFwfgEQY7k9GNdxPXW7GCwiB4LBBVXI7rLttBW1nKNxDT1FtHgka-nJk1BoCDfkQAvD_BwE

This World Environment Day, we’re focusing on China Lake, the sole source of drinking water for our community.

Every drop depends on what happens in the watershed around it, which makes local care and protection more than important, it makes it essential.

Memorial Day weekend usually marks the unofficial start of summer in Maine.

After months of pretending 45 degrees was “not that bad,” pools start filling, camps begin opening, lawns green up, and outdoor projects get underway after a long winter.

Summer activities also bring increased water use across homes, businesses, and communities throughout the region.

We're proud to keep that water flowing for you all summer long. Here's to warmer days ahead.
