Congratulations to JWP/WEM Track & Field athletes who competed in the 2026 State Track & Field Meet this past weekend!

๐ŸŒŸThe 4x200 team of Rachel Mielke, Katie Olson, Nevaeh Weimert, & Ashlynn Wolff for placing 2nd with a time of 1:43.30!!

๐ŸŒŸThe 4x400 team of Weimert, Wolff, Rachel Mielke, and MaKaela Westphal took 2nd with a time of 3:58.62!

๐ŸŒŸGavin Atherton - 2nd Place in the 400 with a time of 48.63, recording a PR during the finals, while placing seventh in the 800!

๐ŸŒŸThe 4x100 relay team of Addi Condon, Wolff, Olson, and Weimert took 6th Place with a time of 49.77.

๐ŸŒŸRachel Mielke placed 7th in the 300-meter hurdles.

๐ŸŒŸGrady Grohman - 9th Place in the Shot Put with a throw of 53-04.25!

We have reached MSHSL STATE SPRING TOURNAMENT TIME!

Please join us tomorrow, Thursday, June 4th, at 10:45 a.m. on Main Street in Janesville, along with East Elysian Lake Rd & HWY 60 through Waterville, to send the JWP/WEM Track & Field team off in style as they travel to St.Michael-Albertville for the STATE MEET JUNE 4-5!

Congratulations to all our graduates from the Class of 2026! The WEM Night of Excellence was a wonderful celebration of the outstanding achievements in our graduating class.

A tremendous THANK YOU to the Waterville-Frandsen Foundation Bank & Trust for honoring 37 WEM graduates and awarding them a free education at two-year public colleges or universities. The Frandsen Foundation Scholarships alone awarded over $ 1.2 million to these students!

In addition, we had over $60,000 in scholarships awarded to seniors through our local scholarship donors.

The approximate total awarded scholarship dollars for WEM Night of Excellence 2026 was $1,260,000!!!

THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE and life-changing gift for our 67 seniors, especially notable considering the size of our communities. Our towns truly show a commitment and investment in the future success of our students!

THANK YOU to all of our donors, scholarship committees, Waterville Minnesota Lions Club for donating the dinner, and to our WEM community for continuing the WEM Night of Excellence Tradition!

We even had a few dinosaurs invade the run, chasing students, racing students & causing havoc around the building!!
